Just a happy post with some pretty photos. Haven't posted very much about Fergs on here lately because we've not been doing much. We went up to the forest for a play last weekend though and had a blast. Due to unforseen circumstances, we were out by ourselves the whole time, which is unusual for Fergs who can be a spooky sod by himself, so the fact we survived (with minimal drama!) is an achievement in itself!

Having a blast down the hill:

And having a play in the river... Fergs loves water :D

Anyway, I feel like death today (and have all week!) so have been looking at the photos and admiring his general awesomeness and thought I'd share! ... Not that I'm biased or anything!

He has the most adorable face ever. Those photos are beautiful and he is such a legend, I am a huge Fergs fan as you know :D Glad you had a good time!

He is, isn't he :D

Brilliant pics! Looks like fab fun :D

Thanks! And it was!

Doesn't he just?! I'm not sure if I'm just ill and over-emotional (lol) but every time I see his happy wee face in these, I just want to cry with joy and excessive feelings of irrational love! He just loves to please, always happy to do his job if he thinks he can... He's far too nice for me!

And thanks! :)

Fab pics, v jealous of that water u have to play in.

I wish I had that river all year round! I'd love to live up there, sadly it's a couple of hours away from me :(

Oh my! I love the matchy!!

Looks like you had a fab time :D

Oh that's more co-inky-dinky than matchy matchy! My rugby shirt is actually clashy clashy as it's dark red, but photos make it look similar to his saddlecloth and bridle ;)

It was ace - he was super, and I'd kill for hacking like that!

Great pics!!!! What a gorgeous pony. Super jel of your hacking as well...would love some water to practise water jumps with!!!! :)

Thanks - he is gorgeous, isn't he :D Alas not my usual hacking! I have a mini ford locally but nothing like this, and certainly no lovely sandy forest tracks for fast work. Wish it was closer!

Lovely pics hes a smashing lad!! :)

Hope you dont mind me asking but which forest is this?? I have a feeling you are near to me and i could really do with getting my lad playing in a river to boost his xc confidence!! :)

I love fergs! He looks super awesome in the forest and very brave going on his own.

We shall have to do a beach trip with them some time if you fancy it?

He is indeedy :D Thanks!

It's Thetford, but I'm Essex based (for my sins!).

Ach he's ok....

Nah he's super fantastic, brilliant pics!

Oh you!

Thanks, credit to my mother for the photos - she isn't half getting better with a camera!

That looks like amazing hacking, you look like you both had a great time - Fergs is gorgeous he so adorable.

It's properly lovely, though I didn't get to explore much of it without a buddy or a map  Next time, I say!

Fantastic photos, what an awesome pone.

Thanks - he is rather! #biasedowner!

FEEEEEEEEEEERGS!!!!!

(we love you!!!)

Awesome photos, looks like you were having the best time ever!!! xxxx

Hehe I've never seen so many photos of me smiling - that NEVER happens  (Fergs loves you back... Fergs would love anyone for a Fergie-snack!)

How did you end up on your own? (but well done Fergs!)

Because I won't cow tow to drama llamas ;) Don't think I should discuss it on here  Will pm you on fb later!

Ahhh I want to go!! :D

Bit of a long drive for you, sadly!

He's a beautiful boy! I wish we had a place to ride like that, looks like great fun! :D

I'm super envious of anyone who lives within hacking distance normally - I'm lucky to have trailer and time to go up there occasionally, but to actually stable there - wow  Fergs would be so fit with all the fast work we'd do!

Errrrr, heyalll yea! Haven't seen you and YP in aaages, and would love a beach trip! He was very brave - he didn't have a single meltdown and was happily having gallops by himself and popping over some of the wee xc fences (the larger ones were in a bit of a state, from what I saw  ) :)

I thought i recognised it!!!! Thats like 20 mins from my house!!!!!

*trundles off to organise a forest trip and hunt for that river!!!*

If your ever up this way again and want company ill happily meet you there!!! :)

It's near Little Lodge Farm - if you head down Track 17 away from LLF, there's only one track off to the right before you hit the road, which takes you to that ford. There's another ford up the other side of the Farm, as far as I'm aware too :)

That would be great some time, thanks :)

Lucky you and Fergs, lovely photos, looked like great fun. Love him.

Thanks! Yes, we were very lucky to get up there for a play, it was ace! :)

What a beautiful boy he is...and lovely pics ♥♥♥

Thanks! I think he's beautiful... but I am biased ;)

Stupid phone wont let me quote!! Thanks for the directions will get organising that trip soon!!! :D No worries feel free to give me a shout if ur about!! :)

Fab pictures! :)

Nice to see some light-hearted fun after recent Forum shenanigans!

Haha it does make a change, doesn't it... Perhaps I should've included some insults / racism / disability mocking or something to keep it more in tone with recent goings on!

He's so lovely! Please tell me how to have a blast down a hill though?!!! ;) I'm fine uphill & on the flat but it scares the bejesus out of me going downhill ;)

Errrrr.... By having a super little pony who pulls up at the drop of a hat ( any hat ) and is (usually, touch wood) as sure footed as a mountain goat! 'course, it also helps that there was no hope of the camera man walking to the top, so if I wanted front view photos, we have to hoon down it!

Take a camera! And I will do!
