Festival of Eventing Abandoned

Very sadly The Festival of Eventing has been abandoned. What makes this competition so unique has been its downfall in spectacularly adverse conditions in August!! The XC course is hilly so people Ambulances, and Horse Ambulances cannot navigate the the hills.
These are my personnel observations of the site having accompanied a course Dr in previous years.
I hope the Festival has robust abandonment insurance in place!!!

Feel bad for you guys down south. Im also pleased I dont event nowadays (green horse who I can never get going properly XC due to nowhere to go!). Its so much tougher just to get runs it seems these days. I remember eventing in hail / snow, torrential rain, jumping out of bog. How times have changed.
