I had a brilliant day if slightly different to previous years.

This was the first year that the minkhounds have been invited to show at Peterborough and as such I didn't get to see much of the other classes as I was holding leads. Delighted that my pack took the championship.

Thanks to those people who kept my seat in the arena warm for me and apologies to those who thought I was letting the side down by sneaking in at the start and the end wearing my jeans or hunt kit!

Does anyone have results written down from foxhounds or beagle classes?

Sorry haven't got the results, but I think I have met you twice this week and I've only just realised - I was at Pattens and at Peterborough, I realised on the way home when we were stuck in traffic that the Claire I had met was probably the Claire off here.....

Well done for taking the Championship, all of your hounds looked very well!!

We went. My daughter was riding in a team for the inter-hunt baton relay. Unfortunately they were out in the first round. Never mind!

Well done for winning the championship. Some mink hounds (from Northamptonshire) visited our area a few months ago and we followed on foot. It was fun.

Doh! Will do better next time! Thank you, Have to say winning the championship was a complete surprise; really didn't think we were in with a chance again! I was even more chuffed with the best handler cup.

Rather disappointing coverage of the Festival of Hunting. I appreciate there was a lot happening and pressure on journalism staff, but the coverage of the hunts who don't have foxhounds was derisory. Not overly impressed with the paragraph on the minkhounds which bordered on being rude - talking of our informal dress with waistcoats and cloth caps made one think the Wurzels had rocked up to the hound show when in fact that was our best hunt uniforms!!
