I was wondering if anyone from here might be going? Its from the 31st - 3rd at Westpoint in Exeter and I'll be there with my trade stand (art, cards and prints). If anyone is, come and say 'Hi'.
You'll know me by my t-shirt emblazoned with the mysterious slogan 'Hunting is in a spot of bother.' on the front....actually, I have no such t- shirt, but it would be nice to meet some other forum members!

Isn't this the event that got slaughtered on social media last year, for being very much not what was advertised?

Some people brought tickets to the clearly advertised daytime sessions which are much more showing than displays and then made a fuss, but I think if you can’t read the ‘what’s on’ pages of the website that’s on you!

We went for the evening show last year. Really enjoyed the show but (with apologies to littleshetland) seem to remember there were next to no stalls. There was a huge queue for one food van that everyone wanted food from (there were a few others but expensive), which meant people were getting up during the show to go and get food. Hopefully all the niggling problems from last year won’t occur again this year.

The horses were lovely though!

No apology required! I was there last year and there weren't as many traders there as they'd expected, I'm not quite sure why.. but I believe there promises to be more traders this year - well, I'll be there anyway (lol) and it does sound like there'll be more food traders too. Last year was the first one to be held at Westpoint, a much bigger venue, so this year should run a bit smoother. Im really looking forward to watching the Spanish school from Cordoba.

The obese Spanish horse from our yard is supposedly going. I can’t wait to see how it gets on! I am always being told how amazing it is. I am not a fan of Spanish horses but do recognise a nice horse. That isn’t one.
