Fetlock rings-do you use one or two?

If he's nicking the inside of his pasterns and on his fetlock - neoprene yorkshire boots are brilliant - they protect from the coronet up to the joint. Or if it's just the coronet you can get your saddler to make you up something like this - just fasten with a velcro strap. Again work well - seems to be a common place for cuts/nicks on flat horses. https://www.equipro.com/Scalping_Boots.html

Fetlock ring is really easy though, wack it on and your done!

Just be careful the yard where i work left one on for a while and it got sand stuck in the abrasions which then rubbed his leg a bit so keep an eye!

I pop one on Che, he has a habit of standing on his own hooves and pulling his back shoes off, this seems to deflect him just enough to stop it.
