Fetlock rings/sausage boots!

Beau has her first set of hind shoes on (ready for her eventing career

) and my instructor today said shed recomend a sausage boot as she can move very close behind...

So what leg do you put it on?

oh ok then thats easy! I dont think she moves more one way... she is quite a straight girly.

They don't work for me....
If i put one on Max, he invariably comes home without it

hmm ok, so do you use an alternative?

They dont seem too expensive to have to replace.

Your instructor means a fetlock ring. Sausage boots are for stable use - see the difference here

It was the fetlock ring that i always thought was also called a sausage boot... ive never even seen a sausage boot like that!!!

they've never been great with our boys, found putting overreach on hinds works well for low brushing plus fetlock/brushing boots for higher ones

They aren't too expensive but if they lose one every time you go out, it soon mounts up. Plus once they have lost them they still brush behind, and so on and so on

I have tried over reach boots behind, but he even managed to lose one of them.
I think he is a lost cause

lol, must be something in the way he moves (So want to burst into song now) but i've never lost an overreach but i'm a bit obsessive about cleaning the velcro espically with driving horses when thier wearing overreaches all round with a million hooves capible of pulling them off!
