FFS Why is it so difficult to find a yard!!!

The yard hunting didn't go well yesterday - 1st one I looked at (private home with a couple of spare stables) wasn't going to work out - they wanted £850 per month for my two girls for full livery

but I could only use the arena twice a week (but I could pay MORE if I wanted to use it more often

) Woman also admitted that youngsters 'scared' her - despite being expressly told that I had youngsters....

Second yard wasn't much better, girl was a bit more with it, price was certainly way more realistic but stables were a bit on the small side and the fields were full of ragwort

To top it off, you had to be off the yard by 7.30pm

How bl**dy difficult can it be????

Sorry - rant over - I'm beginning to run out of options and I only have four weeks to find somewhere else......

North Aberdeenshire - needs to be somewhere between Ellon and Peterhead....

I always thought property was cheaper in Scotland so would expect there to be cheaper livery but just shows what I know. Good luck.
