Bear had an operation on 1st June to remove 3 lipomas. One was on his chest and had internal stitches. Aren’t they meant to dissolve? The OH took 2 out a couple of days ago as they were suddenly sticking out. I felt something damp today and the wound is oozing and there’s a tiny hole ??. I had a little squeeze and out came pus. I will be keeping a very close eye on this, but my plans for nice cooling swims are out the bloody window. The forecast says up to 30 degrees til Friday. If it looks even vaguely icky, he will of course go to the vet.

Could do without this, tbh. We’re probably going to swap practices, we’re waiting for a reply to a complaint about being referred to the hospital miles away who after over 3 days and £3K of tests still couldn’t diagnose puss cat.

I had a stitch for years in the back of my leg. Pulled it out one day, not realising what it was. I very stupidly didn’t know-wasn’t told-that they stitched up the back, seems fairly obvious in hindsight! ?

Im just peed off (with everything!), first week of the holiday, boiling hot and I can’t even take my dog to the river. ? He and I need the exercise, I’ve just put my crutches away.

my experience is they don't always dissolve. I've had two instances where supposedly dissolvable stitches have had to be taken out by the vet so I won't have them anymore.
