Just wondering. I have one, and I love it, but it seems to be making my boy sore despite correct fitting/placement etc. Did anyone else's neddy just not get on with it?

I think it's fair to say that not all saddles suit all horses.

If your boy isn't comfortable in it then something needs doing. Could you get a Fhoenix agent back out to see if it needs shims?

I got one for my two horses - a wide 15hh HW cob, and a narrower 14.3hh Section D.

The Sec D loved it, his topline improved and he went really well in it.

The cob seemed to go Ok in it (he was a very laid back 'lets just get on with it' kind of horse), but when I had his back checked after 3 months of using it, his vertebrae were completely 'out' in the saddle area. The McTimoney woman could only put it down to the saddle.

She also checked the Sec D and his back was 'perfect' (quote).

So, yes, it's a beautifully made quality saddle, but no, they don't suit all horses.
