Asif your YO wont give you more even though youve asked to pay for it! Sounds bizzare to me! Without wanting to sound rude but have you looked into moving yards, I know I wouldnt be very happy about not being able to feed my horse what I wanted it fed, plus if theres no grass on the field and hes out there for quite a while I wouldnt be happy about that either, unless he was out on the winter fields as I know quite a lot of yards around here havent started using the summer fields yet due to the rain we've had.

If you want to slow down a horse eating one of these, put one into a bucket of water and watch them play "bob the block"! Did this to occupy my Exmoor the other day and she happily bobbed away, managing to scrape bits off until it soaked through and thus became a soaked block! I keep them on reserve as I feed haylage which goes off too quickly in the summer, so this is a great way to occupy a horse for grooming and so on.
