Well, I figured it couldn't do my 3 yr old any harm to expose her to an inhand class (and depending on how it went, I would withdraw her). She was fidgety but very good. 11 week ago, you were lucky to catch her, she didn't lead and she hadn't been handled so I was VERY proud of her yesterday.

I also chose to take my highland mare into the Ridden M&M - our first ever - and when they called us in, I was sure they were going in reverse so shocked when a red rosette was handed over - as I thought the chestnut in this class went well.

We then did our first Working Hunter (Mini Novice) and again, she managed to get 1st here.

The Show Jumping Novice was more than a little hairy with our lines being awful - as she kept heading for home - but she got 4th here. I'm just delighted that she behaved and it's the most consistant she's ever been in an outline.
