Field Advice - Buttercups in Field Planning on Making Hay From

Planning on making hay from our fields this year. Have rested the fields, fertilised them thought we had done everything but have realised that we have quite a lot of buttercups in the fields. Is is still OK to make hay from this field? Thank you.

I would imagine you should be OK, from what I can gather, it is toxic when fresh but safe to eat when dried
