Field Find??

I'm sure it will be trumped by something more bizarre but found a feather duster in my horses' field today. Field is shielded by plenty of trees and a country lane and didn't have a hurricane last night. Anyone else had odd discoveries???
 
I found a perfect little nest lsst year blown out the tree was made out of my cobs tail hair and a bit of moss :)
 
My land backs onto Warwick Uni halls of residence. I've found an NUS card in the trough before, and when they were putting up the buildings and laying the electrical cables, they didn't bury them the same day. Thus some lovely folks dragged the cables over the fence onto my land, snipped all the encasing off to get to the copper wire core. £75k's worth of cabling gone in one night, and a LOT of twisted steel wire left over.
 
Picked a bronze age flint arrow head out of my horse's foot and we don't live anywhere near flint. The British Museum told me it was dropped by a trader exchanging flint arrow heads for salt.
 
We found a flint arrowhead in our chicken run (in the horses field). We frequently find Chinese lanterns as we're upwind of the town centre, just over the brow of the hill, so they come up, meet the colder air and go out, but the oddest thing was a spade in our hay field, we thing someone came to look at the neighbours fence, and dropped it in the long grass, which grew up and we made hay, it wasn't discovered till my daughters friend cantered over it!
 
Well timed thread. In the last week I have found two silver George V coins in T's field - a shilling and a half crown. A couple of years ago I found a 17th century coin too :) Not metal detectoring or anything, just must spend most of my life looking at my feet :D

Aww, when I first came to uni I strayed into a field of cows and lost my bag. The thing is it was cops and robbers night and said bag was a pillowcase with SWAG written on it. I never got it back :-( was comical reporting it lost at the police station!

In my field I have found:

-Multiple used nappies?
-Cans of lager or red bull with teeth marks in
-Wormer syringes of a brand neither me or my neighbours use
-polystyrene kebab boxes
-jaffa cakes
-a whole cucumber
- a used you-know-what hanging on a tree *shudder*
-a shoe

I think its mostly the foxes!

Wow, you have civilised foxes in Cambridge! I'm pretty sure the foxes round here don't use protection. I'm also having visions of little cubs in pampers now :D
 
Eww yuck!
Tbh I think op's feather duster in a field shelter is the oddest?! Don't get that one at all!
I found a rugby ball yesterday in mine whilst poo picking. Not weird but really bothered me. The field has my daughters pony who I've posted about previously loosing his eye and confidence, the thought if random people kicking a ball round him makes me feel sick as he'd be terrified beyond belief.
