Walking across my fields today i have noticed a few large white flat mushrooms sprouting up due to the wet weather i guess. We've never had them before so i don't know if they are harmless or whether i should go back out in the rain to remove them all. I'm really hoping its the first option as i suspect that a new lot may have sprouted by morning! Any advice much appreciated!

Pick them, chop them, fry them with a little butter and salt and pepper and put them on toast. They're lovely!!

Seriously though, they sound like field mushrooms and they're completely harmless to horses, we get them every year in our fields and never had a problem. Horses don't eat mushrooms anyway.
Cheers
