Hello!
After some advice please - My two girls moved onto a 3 acre paddock in January and pretty much have lived out 24/7 on it until now. One's a 15.2hh tb and the other is a 14.2hh heavy cob.. I saved the back section but the majority of the field is quite turned up but with this sunshine it is getting extremely hard. Is it best to harrow + roll now? There's some very bare patches and also quite a bit of mulching going on. I've never used fertiliser before and not keen on using it to be honest.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Harrow now to knock the tops off the rutted area and to level somewhat. We will get rain again in the next few weeks…I’d roll after that when soil temp is warmer and grass wants to grow faster than it is now.

Another here who has been told to harrow before rolling, otherwise you create false stepping and it's easier to roll when the ground is broken up too.

The effect of harrowing often negates the need to roll. The tractor tyres level out the worst, and the harrow knocks of the tops.
