Hi everyone,
I’ve just taken on a new rather over grown field, Can anyone tell me what you could expect to pay to have someone come and cut and spray (for nettles) an approximately 3 acre field? Also any suggestions of anyone to contact in the Cambridge area would be great.
Thanks :)

Depending on how bad the nettles are if you cut them down rather than have them sprayed the horses will love eating them!

As mentioned you may be better off topping these and letting the horses eat them for now, and then looking at spraying next spring when they start to come up again. Nettles can be quite tricky to kill, and take up herbicides better when actively growing. Spraying at that point may help avoid spraying twice and save a bit of money.

Cost wise, I think you may need to allow up to £150.
