Field rental

I`ve got approx 6-8 acres at the moment but would ideally like more, have 2 horses but want to keep my 5 acre field for winter want to split it in two so can give one a break while other gets trashed.

Anyway the field that backs onto my property is coming up to rent, it`s another 7 acres and is good land, not to rich and buttercup and nettle free (yippeeeee) how much is 7 acres to rent approx? I know it varies from area to area but just wanted an estimated figure, i cant go by how much I`m paying to rent my property it includes stables and the house...

You could try a long term let ie £1000 per annum or a bit more ? I was offered something like this and I think it was about £1200 for the year.

Sounds steep to me. We rent 20 acres in north Oxofordshire which costs us £100 per acre per annum ie. £2,000 a year.
