Asking for a friend. What is the best bedding to put in a fiels shelter and also a corral to restrict grazing? I don't mean bedding I think I mean floor surface??

…and what is cheap in your area. I used pea gravel at about £15/tonne collected. Works well.

Thanks for the suggestions have passed them to my friend but field owner insists on something bio degradable so would wood chippings or bark be safe for horses?

I use wood chips but you need to make sure that none of the content is from poisonous trees/ bushes such as sycamore, yew etc.
