Hello, I'm new and this is my first post. As much as I like horses I'm afraid I don't ride but was after some advice. I would like to rent a small field, for storing logs. That's it really, no stable or barn required, although it would be a bonus. Even a corner of a field would be suitable so I've joined this forum to see if anyone can help. I'm based in Woking Surrey but beggars can't be choosers so if i have to travel a nit then fine. Any help or suggestions would be very gratefully received. Thanks Richard

I can't help you myself (too far away) but thought I would reply as no one else has... Have you tried driving round local yards that you can see, and just going in to ask if you could hire a small bit of land or a spare stable or barn? How much space are you talking about? If you really just want a patch, you could try putting notices on village notice boards or tack shop notice boards as someone might have a spare shed, garage etc you could use.

Do you have a LOT of logs?

As above really - depends on how many logs you have - someone is bound to have some space - maybe look on preloved or place an ad on there - good luck x

Shame you're so far away as I have a bit of land that's wasted at the moment. It's too small for mr to do anything with and is just home to rabbits and nettles!

Good luck, I'm sure you'll find a farmer who'll rent you a bit of space.
