.. im getting my fields sprayed next year approaching Spring for Docks and Buttercups. I've just had a random thought.
Does the spray they use kill Ragwort too? Or is that a seperate spray?
 
Hi we use a herbicide (grazon 90) to do our paddocks and the paddock which had ragwort in we do the highest doses recommended that way we treat the whole fields for everything , thistle, docks,buttercup, nettles and ragwort
its more expensive this way but at least it controlls the problem


we get it through our farmer

so im not sure if your killer killls ragwort best to find out which one they are using

Thanks i'll ask the farmer to treat everything probably just in case!
Do you mind me asking how much per acre you pay roughly?
 
OK i bought A 2 Liter bottle of grazeon 90 which was about 30 quid and that does roughly 4 hectares
that's about 10 acres

man its proper potent stuff you dilute it to water and the amount to water is scary
worked wonders though really good and the best thing is they can graze on it after 7 days although i leave it 28 just to be safe
