Does anyone use these? I've just purchased an HY Fieldsafe and I'm confused as to why it's got 2 plastic clips along with a metal clip where the cheek clips attaches - does anyone know what these are for?

Apparently it has two velcro (the plastic ones?) attachments so you have a spare if one of them breaks. Presumably you use the metal clip attachment if you are tying the horse up normally so you don’t have to keep changing the headcollar?

I did wonder this and then I'm assuming I clip it onto one of the plastic ones when in the field?

Looking at it on their website, it looks like you attach the cheekpiece to the metal loop for when you are leading & tying up, then to the plastic loop which is attached to the velcro breakaway for when turned out.

Just had a look at them, god don't like them, heavy headcollar and metal buckles.

Westerway are lightweight, only have rubber rings on the sides not metal

I only buy Westernway now, the best I have found
, lightweight and
min of 4 velcro breaking points
and choice of colours
and gd price.
