Mine has surprised me. It was made by my OH and hasn’t moved or creaked an inch. I feel for those who’s shelters have been damaged, they aren’t cheap to replace! Mine is well anchored down and screwed to a fence. I did lose the roof of my little tractor shed, but that’s easily replaced as it’s only small.

Ours was well anchored down attached to two fences and posts concreted in to the ground. It is now upside down in between the fields. We are still having high winds so can not try and sort it till Tuesday. Had no power for 30 hours and just had another half loss of power but back on now thank goodness.

I spent the whole day worrying about my mobile field shelter which wasn’t anchored at all and it didn’t move. My trailer, however, which I hadn’t given a thought to, had a shed blow onto it ?

If anyone wants a shelter recommendation for the south contact me as I’ve been very impressed since I bought it just over a year ago!

One of mineine was anchored down. Base still in place. Roof 2 fields away and the rest collapsed.

What terrified me was that pieces of wood had come out with such force they were inches in the ground - like a javelin. I'm never having a galvanized steel roof again looking at the damage it caused to the ground. If that had caught a horse or human they would have been badly injured.

The other shelter is on a solid steel base wedged in trees (it's been there 15 years). Wind lifted and dropped it a foot to the left pulling out the posts it was attached to. I'd been meaning to cut back the tree it was wedged in but I'm relieved I didn't.
