I have a horse who always coughed before exercise due to a tieback op before I got him. Recently he's been coughing more with mucus. trip to the vets hospital diagnosed that he is aspirating food into his airways, hence the mucus. they are going to do a simple op where they inject filler into the vocal chord to help build them up and help the horse create a seal against feed. has anyone ever heard of this or had it done?
