Hi all
Had the dentist out to my 7yr old mare yesterday for a routine check up and while being done the vet pointed out that she had infundibular caries in the first two top back teeth, one worse than the other. The vet showed me where the decay was an I could see that she could push the probe into the tooth so the is obviously some degree of decay there.
The vet has suggested that she is referred to Pool House for investigation and possibly to have one or both of them filled.
I've never had a horse that has had to have fillings before and wondered what everyone else's experiences of this have been.
I don't want to not do something if it needs doing but I also don't want to do it if its not really necessary.
Thanks
