Mimosa is going to have to get used to no longer being the baby!

Meet Xiviers Arizona, a 14 month old 98% Arab by Versacci and out of Hazira. Versacci is out of Mimosa’s dam Faith so Arizona shares a lot of similarities with Mimosa but, as my husband put it, she is different enough to be her own personality and won’t be in Mimosa’s shadow. She’s softer than Mimosa in her temperament- Mim is like a Labrador puppy but Arizona is gentle and refined.

She is intended to be a lovely hack and to do some lower level dressage eventually - and primarily, to be adored and admired as part of the family.

The vet’s comments today were really encouraging - she’s nice and straight and strong, joints look good, feet are even and she was very easy to handle, with flexion tests completed for all four legs with no complaints.

Photos from her breeder, Lisa Reynolds West. She has such lovely, well-adjusted youngsters so would highly recommend dealing with her.

What a pretty girl! One of my friends has a Xiviers horse, but I looked up the lines and they are not related as far as I can see. Looking forward to following your journey with her. :)

How lovely - which one does she have? Mimosa is by Xivier’s Sinatra.

what a lovely face, lots of white on the body though, that will keep you busy, when is she coming home?

I know - and I always said palomino or dun/buckskin would be the most out there I’d get with colours ? she’s arriving on Wednesday.

What a pretty little lady! So is Mim her half aunt?

Yes, Mimosa’s dam, Faith, is also Versacci’s dam.

And actually, the breeder bred Mimosa’s sire too but he’s not related to Arizona.

She is stunning!

Don't suppose you found any liver chestnut versions to make 15hh+ on your search :p...

No sadly not! Liver chestnut is my absolute favourite colour. Jo Davis has a colt by Versacci who is not liver chestnut but going to be such a beauty. I’m not sure if they will sell but you could keep an eye on him as he develops.

This is her - she's Sinatra's half sister..... https://www.allbreedpedigree.com/in...ERS+SHIMIRA&g=5&cellpadding=0&small_font=1&l=

She's a palomino like Mim. She has a public FB page for her here..... https://www.facebook.com/littleyellowhorse

ETA my friend knows that I have posted this and knows both Mim and Arizona. :) x

I’ve followed her too! Lovely to see - she reminds me of Mim.

Has to be a filly as Skylla doesn’t ‘do’ boys ✋????, but I cannot wait to see how your little one turns out!
