Final update on stray dog Pics attached

Hi,

Collected dog from pound minutes before she was to be PTS on Thursday. She stayed with a friend of mine till saturday. we bought a pen for her, kennel etc. - 800 euro later, we stood back to see doggy break straight out of the pen after all but 2 minutes!

Had to put her in the horse box and re think! Finally got in contact with a local sanctuary and they agreed to take her.

Beautiful Suzie spent the night in my horse box and I brought her for her final walk with me this morning. I said my good byes and blubbled like a baby and my hubbie brought her to the sanctuary this afternoon.

I brought her to the vet on saturday and had her vacinations, worming, and antibios plus full vet check done. Turns out that this sanctuary has a load of dogs going to UK on thursday as well and because she is all checked out and vacc'ed etc, Suzie is off to England. Apparently there is a waiting list for dogs with some of the charities in the UK and thats why a lot of the charities here are shipping them over to good homes.

Thanks for all your comments. Miss her loads but can't off her a good enough life and can't keep her in!!!!!

Santuaries in UK are also full to bursting, but some will always find more room.
