Well i am very pleased with my ponies at blue chip, jumped the novice warm up on Saturday with two ponies and took the wrong course with one

and a good clear but just missed out on the placings with the other one. Then had two in the novice championship had an unfortunate knock down with spirit and Bess finished up 11th out of 118 so i was very pleased as she is a youngster and never stayed away at a competition before and was quite stressed throughout Friday night and Saturday when i first brought her out. Then i got 17th out of around 100 in the warm up for the discovery on Bailey (my gorgeous dun pony

). The the same pony got 15th out of around 100 in the discovery championship (so very very pleased with him... he never lets me down

)
Then Sunday morning i was back on Bess and yet again took the wrong course in the warm up

(it is obvious I am not very good with mornings

) but redeemed myself in the newcomer championships when she flew through to the second rounds with ease and i was very very pleased as it was a very technical course and built up to height (in my 10 years of show jumping so far it was definatly the hardest

) In the second round she jumped amazing (had many many compliment on her ability and attitude to work and jumping) but just caught the planks, i did not even know she had knocked it down as i did not hear her touch it. Overall she jumped absolutely amazing and lots of people were watching her and complimenting her ability and i was very proud of all of my lovely ponies.

They have given me a great last bluechip adventure on ponies

drove all the way from lancs and back to watch her, had to come back as many other horses that want mucking out and feeding, this morning, managed to enlist help for one day, but not many people have time to do 20 stables for us, her riding is so quiet and accurate, as she was recently told by a well known bsja instructor, you have to be born with that gift, it cannot be taught, well done to all the people we know who also did well at blue chip, also the ones we dont, if there is one thing about bsja ponies it is the friendliness of all the parents, who just want all the kids to do well, not just there own, this i will miss.

Well done.............pity you have the odd memory lapse remembering courses

Our old pony was at Blue Chip, it was great to see he'd done well & come 5th in the Sapphire Class (Quarry Farm Top Notch @ Corky)
