So a very happy post from me . Something 4/5 weeks ago I was told was never going to happen again and it wasn't worth pursuing.

So a very happy post from me and Sol .. she is also LOVING being out everyday and even canters over to me when I go to catch her (unheard of before!)

And just because I really do adore my humunga-horse

I think that the main thing that is helping are the injections really but saying that the vet was really pleased with her feet and how she is moving now because of her shoes .

And as a few people know when he(vet) suggested it 2 weeks ago there were a few choice swear words and I muttered 'you'll never get this horse sound'

I think he took it as a challenge

She is either

a) Going to behave because she knows I don't want flying lessons (not that I need lessons - I'm a pro now
smirk.gif

or

b) Going to have an epi fit seeing as she's been told for the last month she's retired and she's only going to be a lawn ornament

She's so beautiful it just didn't seem right that she couldn't go out and let people admire her.

Good Luck, fingers, toes and eyes crossed for the future and take care, both of you and her.

I kept forgetting that age is really on her side and that with the combination of shoeing , joint injections , cortaflex and turnout she's going to come right(ish)

ISHY I am so so pleased for you. What wonderful news for you and Sol! It would appear that miracles do happen after all. Your news brought a huge smile to my face, I feel, as a I'm sure everyone else does, that I have lived this nightmare with you.
