I am so happy with today, after the load of problems I have had with my horse in the beginning we are starting to make real progress!
He is much better in the stable and in the field, no more jumping out, rearing, or messing about and not as many bad manners. And ridden he is becoming a star! At first I had real problems getting him to listen at all, but have been doing a million transitions to get him listening.. Still had problems with getting him to calm down though, it felt like he was anticipating an upwards transition all the time, and was very joggy and rushing. I had a lesson this morning and got him working more rounded and a lot calmer at a constant pace, even after/during a canter!
