After nearly a week of not being able to catch new horse I finally got the b***ger. Had to erect an electric fence
down half the field and gradually move each post in. Took me two hours and the so and so still wouldnt give up when I was only feet from the gate. Now hes in and I dont think Im ever going to turn him out again "!
 
Lol, we have a pony at the yard who likes to play silly b**gers too, it can take ages to catch her ....not much good when she has been booked out to go on a ride!!
But she is lovely

Saw an old gypsy trick done on a young wild colt.they had managed to get a headcollar on him and then attached a very long rope,heavy enough for him not to get tangled up in with his legs.When they wanted to catch him took a small bowl of food and just walked to where the end of the rope was and gently pulled him towards them not moving and when he got close gave him the feed not making anymove.With in a week he was catch able and with in a month came when called.
