finally decided that i'm going to get an ex racer strainght from the track now I just need to figure where to get one from!!

Any suggestions welcome!!

I dont know if this is what you are after but im sure the shakes horses get sent to a yard to be rehomed. They match you with the correct horse and you get this horse on trial for so many weeks. If all goes wrong then you can send them back but if you get on I think you pay £1000 for them

straight off the track? Doncaster bloodstock sales is good but don't know when next sale is also there is the exracer club forum (google it) that has a rehoming section - good luck!!!!

Get googling race yards in your area and phone round all the trainers. In my experience they're very friendly and nearly always have something to offer. If they haven't leave your number with them for if they do get something. Before you go to view something ask for their full passported name and look up the race record on racing post, you can look for any big gaps between races which may indicate previous injurys, you can also view races for free on a website called at the races. Good luck and enjoy, I've found each one of mine highly intelligent, quick and willing to learn and very rewarding x
