today after quite a bit of digging and chipping i finally got richie out of his stable only as far as his tie ring but he was happy enough with that and was an angel,I have never been so happy about mucking out (only a weeks worth)

Really pleased for you, it's amazing how these horses surprise you, mine were absolute little angels today despite having been a week. Lets hope the weather continues to be alright for you and Richie.

excellent! i was wondering how you had got on. fingers crossed the snow stays away for us all now! although looks like the south is in for a shed load more :-(
 
Glad to hear it - he is a lucky horse to have someone who so obviously cares about him and understands him.

I hate to see worried, upset horses brutalised they dont deserve it and dont know how to get away from it unless they become even more agressive or shut down. I dont object to a telling off - but prefer it to be a "conversation" where they come round to my way of thinking rather than a bullying session
