Well after a lousy few months with a loan horse that was a nightmare and a beautiful 'potential' who sadly failed the vetting I am really pleased to have finally found a keeper :D

This is Giz my new 16.3/17hh, 7 year old bay thoroughbred gelding. He is such a sweet natured horse and doesnt have a bad bone in his body :p He needs building up but nothing some spring grass and nice hacking wont sort out and my new yard has the most amazing hacking so im really REALLY happy :D

Hope you like ...

i may be biased but i do think hes rather fetching!!
Seriously, couldnt have asked for a better and more caring owner!!!

CONGRATULATIONS to you both!!

Did I mention how fantastic my new YO is and how welcoming she has been :p

Pics as requested ... I hate my photo being taken and i had about three layers on here when it was really warm the other day  We had a lovely hack though :)

And the rest of him :)

*blush*

That was a fab hack wasnt it? SO excited to go out again soon!

I'm so happy hes gone to you! Couldnt ask for a more caring owner!

(nb we know hes bit light, hes getting lots of feed, rugs and a warm stable, he had lost weight due to his previous owner being in hospital, hes one of about 40 horses ive been helping to rehome )

He's lovely but can you just clarify how you pronounce 'giz' (giggles at almost a rude word!)

What are you planning on doing with him?

That's Giz for Gizmo naughty :p

I'm a happy hacker type but will be trying my hand at some dressage, fun rides and maybe some jumping :)

Come on 1630 hurry up and be here so i can jump in the car and go down the yard :)

What a lucky horse, I'm sure that he will thrive with Ant.

DA - I hope that you have lots of luck rehoming the other horses and that the previous owner is recovering from their medical problem.

Haha yes :) I am more than happy to be having Ant at my yard :D I hope to be dragging him out dressaging with me at the earliest opportunity LOL!

So far have managed to rehome around 30 or so... in the past 10 days, have around 10 more to go! The previous owner has heard he is staying local and is really thrilled!
