I am way too excited that Decathlon finally have the white Kipwarm jodphurs in stock. I live in the black ones all winter, and I'm hoping the white ones will make winter dressage bearable!

I thought I'd post on here, as it was through this forum that I first discovered them, and I have seen a lot of posts from people wishing the white/beige ones were avaliable.

How is the sizing please? Only ever bought a top from Decathlon and really like it. Went there for holiday swimming stuff for other half last year back in the days when summer holidays abroad were a thing. Doh just found the size guide and it says 10 for me. I’m generally a 12 in most clothes

Ive found clothing when made to be waterproof isnt very breathable. Do you get damp under these after exercise?

Im forever on the lookout for truly breathable waterproof yard work trousers/leggings..

I normally wear either size 8 or 10 (or 26” or 28”) in riding bottoms of various sorts, and I have these in what is meant to be a 6-8, and they fit perfectly.

And, no, they aren’t particularly sweaty in my experience.

The farmers have this sorted. I use agricultural over trousers or leggings for doing horses and for my water based job. Completely waterproof but non-sweaty, and you can layer up underneath to keep warm/less warm. Cheaper than anything horsey as well.

I haven't found any issues with these, I think being fleece lined prevents the sweaty 'cagoule' feeling. I have worn them on days where it was too warm to need them, and while i was very warm, I didn't notice them getting sweaty.

Size wise, I wear the L (12-14) and would say its fairly accurate. I can fit into some more generous size 12 trousers, but generally buy a 14 for comfort. In case it helps - my usual competition jods are 30", but getting them on requires a significant investment in time and energy!! I'm hoping that by the time the weather improves and I stop wearing the new ones I might have slimmed down enough to get back into them (Unlikley, I'll probably be back in spring asking for recomendations for competition jods!)

I found the mediums too big - I am a size 10 in trousers but they gape at the top and I find myself hoicking them up as the gusset ends up around my knees!

I have a generous size arse as well so if you are on the smaller size of a 10, I'd advise going for a small.

Yes! They've been out of stock for soooo long I thought they'd stopped making them! I'm going to get some more before they run out again. Thanks for telling us. I had to get my mum to patch mine up after a nasty accident resulted in the knee of mine being ripped out on a road. The black ones are fine but look too much like motorbike leathers for my liking.

Oooh they're whitewhite! I bought the beige ones for hunting a few years. Happiness in breeches!
Whitewhite for winter dressage might make me happy. They also seem to tick to the saddle so might improve me seat HAHA ....

To join the size conversation. I bought the recommended size but I have to use a belt or they fall off. Have to admit I don't mind the slightly looser fit. They're very cosy!

I'm sad because they're whitewhite. I was after beige again :(

I do love my beige ones, but I would have preferred them to be a single colour. The darker knee patch irritates me (because, if anything, I would have wanted a lighter knee patch!). My friend got a navy pair a few years back but I never managed to grab one. I have a few of the fetish black!

I bought a black pair a few years ago. They felt really odd on my voluptuous curves. Imagine the Ross on Friends incident with the leather trousers, that could have been me with the kipwarms. They've not been near the horse, relegated to the back of the wardrobe in the hope that I miraculously drop several dress sizes.

Thanks, I'd logged an email with them to be told when they were back in stock, no email but i've just ordered blue and black - I had the blue in medium but am now too large post pandemic so have gone up a size - so yes I now have x2 blue, x2 black (one in a very large size from when I was larger) and x1 in brown !
