Finally moved yards - I am exhausted!

It has taken most of the day to move my two mares and foal, plus my friends TB, and we only went 6 miles!

Had some loading issues (stubborn broodmare

) and soo much stuff (where did it all come from?) but finally made it. Then foalie got cast rolling so I will worry about that all night....

My mares a bit anxious but foalie and the TB made themselves at home right away

Stables are lovely (and brand new)...Here's hoping they settle in well. Off now for a hot bath and a large G & T.

Surely it isn't supposed to be this hard!

moving is one of the biggest stresses a person will have

don't know if that rule applies to horses!

Is a lovely place so I'm sure they'll be just fine.

Met two other liveries today and they were both barking so I think we'll fit in ok too!

i moved 3wks ago & it took my 3.5T lorry & my dads medium sized van with all my stuff then another trip to get the horse although i do i have a 2wheeled carriage that takes quite abit of space!! but that & my clean stable rugs are still in the lorry!

glad it went well & hope they all settle quickly

I've moved yards three times now and each time I've managed to accumulate more stuff - my horse has a bigger wardrobe than I do!! The last time I took a load of stuff the day before then moved horse and remainder of stuff the next day.

I was rather bad and went to work the day Tyler got moved. I woudl have been stressed to the eyeballs and require a tranqualiser!!!!

Best if I was out of the way. lol
