Tal is 5 this year.
I sat on him in May and took a few steps. Then the year snowballed and suddenly it's Jan with him not being backed.

He has been long lined out alone and with other horses

A friend brought her horse out as lead and another friend led us.
I hopped on at the bottom of the drive, crossed the road and went 10 minutes through the woods and back. (This was the first couple of minutes).

Tal was wobbly but he really tried. Didn't put a foot wrong. Fidgeted with his mouth the first bit as you can see nmbut he soon settled.
On the way back we passed 2 horses (this was a first) and he stopped and stared. When he did walk on he didn't give them a second look. - they pulled into the side and stopped to let us pass.

He was so chill he kept trying to grab branches.
