Hello!

I did promise I would try & upload some pics of my gang a while ago. Am back in action now & think I may have managed it.... holds breath... :D

I am biased & think they are fab! Due to the inclement weather conditions they are all snoozing this morning & refusing to budge. Fair weather, lazy creatures that they are!

A good mornings work

Sorry for the overload! Actually I think you have got off quite lightly!!

Anyways that's my guys!

Back to work:(:(

Thanks! I am a tad biased, they are a great gang, keep me out of mischief, money & going grey but they are worth it!

I have to confess she isn't 13 in that pic, she was 10! A little bit of grey & not much eyesight due to diabetes, caused by pancreatitis but she's still the same, will walk a couple of miles and we jump at her every beck & call! She will probably out live her willing servant!

A right motley crew, the Rottie is from welfare, I have had him since a pup though. He does his best for breed PR & converts everyone to Rotties & their true temperaments!!

Lovely pictures of your pack. I have dithered over saying the following, as I really don't want to scare monger, but has your rottie ever had eye problems? Its just that picture where the flash is reflected differently in the one eye. My old GSD had to have her eye removed due to a tumour, she had no symptoms until one morning her eye was obviously sore, and she was rubbing it. To cut it short, within 24 hours she was having surgery to remove the eye. However, some time later I was looking at photos of her taken a few days before that and noticed one had a similar flash reflection to your picture. It may have been total coincidence, and I really don't want to panic you, but couldn't let that picture pass without mentioning it.
This is the pic of Chaka.

What a great pack - would love to hack out with those! :D

MM - it was highlighted on Breakfast news recently that someone on facebook noticed a photo of a friends toddler who's eye had the same appearance. Tests were ran, and tumour was successfully removed :) so def worth mentioning.

Thank you, I am sooo biased!

Murphy's Minder - thank you for mentioning that, it is appreciated. I had wondered about that, and just assumed it was the light? That pic is 2 years old I think & so far he hasn't had any problems. But I have booked him in with an eye specialist that I know to get it looked at. One of the perks of my previous work is that I know all the specialists vets round here so can just go straight to them. Better safe than sorry in my book. You live & learn. The pic of your gorgeous girl is exactly the same?!

Mollichop - I can hack out with a couple of them, the rest are too naughty! We have so many deer round here (Cambs) and they cannot resist!
I cannot believe that I didn't twig about the eye & photo. I don't know if it is the same story you saw, but my step mum's friend's grandson was diagnosed with a tumour from a photo & that made the press too. I never even thought, so thanks.

A Rottie fan then Cayla? Could never be without one:D You haven't lived until you have tried to spend an evening watching a film with a Rottie on the sofa, slowly creeping onto your lap! They are spoilt but he is the gentlest, most obedient creature, and he adores kids. Despite my aversion to them he meets quite a few & is amazing with them.

Thanks for your help & I will let you know if (I hope not) the specialist has anything to say.

I am sure the specialist will tell you there is nothing wrong, and not to listen to nutty old women on forums, but as you say it is exactly the same as my girl. Of course there is no proof that had anything to do with the tumour, could have been pure coincidence as I said. Thanks for your comments about my girl, sadly I lost her in 2006 and still miss her every day. She had only met the little girl in that picture a couple of times before, speaks volumes for her character I think.
