he is fab and I'm so pleased with his temperament - he is nearly 4 weeks now and is so easy to handle. he is our first colt so I'm being a bit more hands on with him than I've been with our fillies in the past because I don't want him to get to 6 months old and be huge, attitudey and have no manners! But that said he hasn't yet given us a single problem and he is being led on a headcollar to and from the field and doing a bit of leading in the school away from his mum and back again. He is just such a lovely character he is curious about everything but not naughty or rude if you say no (I'm sure the attitude will come as he gets older but compared to some foals I've dealt with in the past he is a real pleasure!) I know I'm slightly biased as I already have a West Country mare who I adore but I think Westy has done me proud again
