I’m helping a friend source horses, she is after a cob type that could do show cob classes, 15 to 16 hands, must be a gelding, no younger than 5yo not coloured, needs to be sensible but not a plod. Thank you
Does she want a show cob or a maxi?
True to type cobs that will measure in tend to command a premium
Show Cob, maxi are to big she’s only 5ft 2in and within reason she has a large budget
You’ve missed the point where I stated she has a large budget and also she seen two in that price range one failed the vet the other someone put a deposit on whilst she was riding himPrices are crazy. 4 to 8k isnt going to be enough to get her what she wants in the current market unless she gets lucky and finds a diamond in the rough.
What I was going to say ?how are we 15hh-16hh but you then say she wants a show cob not a maxi so it needs to measure in at 155cm?
Ooh he's nice. They do have some whoppers don't they, two 17.3s for sale!
She doesn’t want to buy untried and obvs we can’t travel at the moment so I doubt it. Will give her his name though, thankyouWould she buy from Ireland? Reid Finlay sells some cracking cobs, some are HOYS quality.
