Prices are crazy. 4 to 8k isnt going to be enough to get her what she wants in the current market unless she gets lucky and finds a diamond in the rough.

You’ve missed the point where I stated she has a large budget and also she seen two in that price range one failed the vet the other someone put a deposit on whilst she was riding him

I'd class £4-8k as a normal budget now, not large. I was quoted £6k for a breed standard height 4 year old just backed connie (which I am more than happy to pay as think that is reasonable).

They have at the moment, but bizarrely I've just bought a cracking little 15.2hh off them. I really need something a bit bigger but he is so lovely, I couldn't not take him home !! They were a pleasure to deal with and I would go back again if I needed to.

If you want a County level cob for that money & broken in/ready to go you might be struggling.
Mine was in that range as a 2.5yo unbroken and unseen!

I think for county show cobs have to measure no higher than 15.1h and maxi is anything over that.

It doesn’t need to be one that would go to county level, just that type as her last horse that she sadly lost last year was an ex county show cob and came to her after retiring from competition
