finding a coloured horse..

hi. other than the coloured contacts website, where else is a good place to look if i want to buy a coloured horse, with not such a huge price tag??
any ideas welcome!! thanks everyone!

Coloured contacts was the best for me. Also Horsemart, and just put coloured in the search criteria....

horsequest and look under the coloured section! They normally have some good priced ones too! Horsemart is the best though!

H&H or any other horse mag/website, always loads of coloureds for sale, now they are sooo popular, but they are nearly always more than a non-coloured animal of the same type.

Coloured are really lovely but sooooooooooo expensive right now.Weird when I was a kid(long time ago) you couldn't give them away!!

i konw TequilaMist - i remember when no one wanted the coloureds - seems funny to compare that to now!! that was the other thing i meant to say... No Mares!!! my stallion would love it way too much!! haha

I know it's a bit of a long shot BUT..

I saw a lovely coloured fine TB type out hunting with the Bedale i was just remarking how beautiully marked he was when a voice perked up " he's mine and he's for sale!"

He was drop dead gorg girl had lost confidence didn't want a younger one went well all day.

What about looking at local hunt or equi event (S-J / Dressage etc) and asking questions a lot of horses aren't advertised but sold by word of mouth.

Might be worth a try iff you see one you'd like! The one i saw was gorg and i'm not a coloured horse person he was called Sandman

Have a look on JUMPOFF site in the horsetrader. I've got stunning 16.3HH gelding that does everything, he's listed on the site with pic. Going to put him in horse and hound next week.
