finding a loan or how to save your horse when moneys tight

Been looking for someone to loan my boy asap as I am due a baby soon and money has stopped coming in. Sometimes I think i should sell. But Id much rather loan in case I can get back finances once the wee one has settled etc.
Any one any tips. Im getting a few responses. one wouldnt help me really long term for amount they had to spend. Others have found something else before seeing him or were too far away.
Running out of time here and sellings so quick option anyway.
 
Perhaps switch to grass or working livery at a good riding centre? (If he is already at home, then this probably doesn't apply.)

Have you advertised locally for a sharer/loaner? Could he act as a companion? Sorry, not much help but hope you get sorted soon. And congratulations:)

Thanks. Not sure hed do well on grass livery. Spent such a silly amount on dressage schooling Id hate to see it all go to waste too. Yup got ads up. Just luck of the draw I guess
 
They advertise regularly.
Call them and tell them about your boy. If he is what they are looking for you are normally asked to go and view the yard and see if its what you had in mind.
All they ever really ask is your are honest about his abilities and that he is sound.

worth an ask No one is picking up just now but Ill try again. Sparsholt want jumping too which hes scared of but hes a star on every other level. I often joke how he is like a riding school pony putting up with my flapping about after a pro rider schooling lol
