Finding a loan pony?

Little sister has been having lessons at a riding school for three years. She lives with my dad in Sheffield and would only be able to come at weekends and ride, and I thought a loan pony would be more sensible than buying one, as she is still growing rather rapidly (she's 12)
I have looked locally with no luck, I'm in the yorkshire area, are there any websites? thanks, r x

ask about at pony club (their website is good), and via the hunt.

try local tackshops, feedstores and online forums.

You can always put up a wanted ad, and you can try them yourself to see if they're suitable (seeing as you're so petite).

There was also someone on here from pocklington who had a horse for loan but not sure what size she is looking for?

Hmm, real shame my old pony isn't more sensible, I'd love to loan him out and am in Yorkshire, and he's been loaned twice before but he seems to have got more badly behaved as he's aged (he's 21 now although you wouldn't know it!) so i wouldn't feel safe letting someone else ride him even though 98% of the time he's lovely!

Actually just thought - where in Yorks are you? My mum works with the Bramham Moor PC I can ask her if there's any ponies going for loan.
