Finding a rider to help/sharer in Cornwall??

Can anyone help??

I am looking for someone to help keep my horses fit - i don't want any money, I just want some help!!! Its like finding golddust!! I have advertised in the freeads and on the notice boards in tack shops and i've asked other horsey people etc etc and I've not had any responses! Anyone got any suggestions re where to try next??
 
Could try facebook? there are often groups for selling horses, equpiment etc in particular areas.

I would love to help someone excercise their horses, but i'm at uni most of the year. I must live quite close to you aswell!

Hmmm don't know anyone in east Cornwall. If you lived in Newquay or Truro I may have known someone. Have you tried local feed merchants notice boards? There are often lots of ads up of people wanting rides.
 
I'll have a look on facebook and see what I can find! Yep i've done all the usual feed merchants like mole valley and cornwall farmers. I thought people would jump at the chance!!
 
You'd think you would have people biting your hand off! Is your ad eye catching and inviting to potential sharers (maybe get someone to check it for you), Good luck with it!
 
How specific are you about the person you want to help? i find that some people who advertise seem to want people with degrees in horse management or some kind of top dressage rider to excercise their horses, and i guess that would put people off, and most very experienced riders will have their own horse.
The type of people looking will often be young people and of course people without their own horse who often will have more limited experience.
How experienced a rider are you looking for?
 
Tell me about it, think the only way is to pay someone, sad really as free riding.
I wouldnt want someone with a degree or a top dressage rider, jsut someone who knows how to ride for free hacking not even any chores.
But have after a while looking given up and put my 'extra' horses on the market.

Are you close to Duchy College, as you could put an advert up in September. There are probably lots of students who would like to have that opportunity.
