Hello

I've recently moved to the Alderley edge area in Chesire, so after a brief period of not riding while moving and getting set up, I've missed riding/being around ponies terribly, I'm now tentatively starting the hunt for a part-loan horse. I've trawled Preloved but surprisingly for this time of year, there's not much on there locally. So thought I would try posting on here to see if anyone local can help!

I'm looking for a part loan/share for 2 days a week maybe three. Sadly I don't have the time for a horse of my own due to work and I can't afford one at the moment.

I'm 21, 5'8", and weigh 10 stone, friendly, reliable, but I am a novice rider, I have been around horses since very small but I only started riding last year. I was having weekly lessons at my local riding school last year as well as helping out with two of my neighbour's horses and hacking out with them in exchange on a cob and friesian/ cob but have moved so am looking to get back into it. I am looking for somewhere to have regular lessons in the area but would like to ride as much as possible to improve. I love to hack out, as would be finding friendly hacking buddies! Happy doing yard duties, I've missed mucking out. I don't mind doing yard duties for a bit and working up to riding.

I would prefer not to travel too far and to keep my horsey commute under 10 mins in traffic - so looking near as possible to Alderley Edge.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Can highly recommend birtles equestrian, down near Holmes chapel, don5 be put off by the distance, it’s about 15 mins away, and well worth the drive, good selection of horses, and you will learn to ride not be a passenger, plus ask Sally (who owns it) for opportunity to help out if you are looking to do that.
Over alderley has a yard but it’s a livery, there might be someone up there who’s looking to part loan, ask Richard who owns the yard, lovely bloke.
