Finding a suitable shaer ... Asking the impossible?

For me, the whole point of a sharer is someone to split the costs.

I agree with you when its the share of a good horse i can understand maybe a free or very cheap share if the horse is in need of quite a bit of work but for a good horse i dont see why a sharer shouldnt contribute to costs. I am advertising for a share at present and have found that putting a price has weeded out alot of people who are just looking for a free ride on any horse close to them so i would deffinatly advise any one else to have a price on their ad even if they change it for the right person which i am willing to do. Also a share of say £20-£25 a week for 2-3 days works out alot cheaper than riding in a riding school!

Have to admit, I understand why those looking for a share get annoyed.

I'm actually on the other side (sharer) and yet it always annoys me when I see would be sharers posting questions such as "will you move yards?"

If I was looking, I would find it hard to keep my cool :S

There will be someone suitable its just a case of finding the right person. If only you were near me, I would love to part loan if you thought me suitable. My beautiful 17yo ID mare is retired due to injury
