Finding a vet to perform vettting/xrays in Netherlands?

Hi. I am seriously considering buying a youngster from the Netherlands. And I have never brought a horse from abroad before, so it would be greatly appreciated if anyone had any names of decent vets from over there? The stable where the horse is from has offered for us to use his vet but Id like to pick one myself. Any help would be brilliant!

Could you be there for the vetting and then get your own vet to review reports and xrays?A video camera might also be handy.

Vettings abroad are nothing like those that are done here. They are much less in depth and less strict than those done by UK vets - for example vets on the continent would happily pass a horse with OCD fragments on x-ray.

In all honesty you would be better to send your vet out there to do the vetting, it may be expensive to do but may well save you a lot of money and heart ache in the future.

The only other way would be to go through an agent as you may have some come back through them (although you may not!).
