Finding saddle for horse with high withers/large shoulders

Have any of you out there had a problem finding a saddle for a horse with high withers or large shoulders?

I have a horse with high withers and large shoulders...I just have a very old english leather weighs a tonne old hunting saddle. £40 off ebay!! fits buds amazingly!

Equipe emporio fits mine very well, as a TB he has typical shark fin wither and is massive across his chest/shoulder, plus has long shoulder blades.

my horse has a huge wither with a short fall ,banana shaped back and huge shoulders and i ride in a lemetex grand prix dressage .

Nope, I just take them to a decent Master Saddler and get the job done professionally.

Yes I do. I finally got an Ideal Impala pro that does the job. Usually anything wide enough on the shoulder sits flat on his wither!

Albinons usually fit shark fun withered horses. Friends mare is a chunk with a big wither and fits her perfectly. My old shark fin boy had an Albion.

I had a Symonds VSD for my TB with big withers and even bigger shoulders.

Merl had high withers and large shoulders, he had an Albion K2 VSD with TB panels, that fitted like a glove.

I can't really suggest a make, although the best fit I had was a Lemetex too, but my saddler advised me to always use the middle and back girth straps to allow more freedom in the shoulders, so that is worth considering.
