hi everyone!

is what im looking for a thing of dreams or do these types exist?????

in an ideal world - i'd really love to find a pair of young enthusiastic grooms (ideally friends), 17+, who want a job doing general yard duties, live in (sharing accommodation between the pair possible), own horse each, chance to travel to shows (with own horse too), working 6 day week.....
any ideas where i can look for this??

thanks!

I will do it but am 37

Agricultural colleges won't be any use to you until the end of the academic year...as obviously the students won't want to abandon their studies to work for you....unless they're cr@p students with no commitment. If the latter, you won't want them anyway, I suspect.
I have to say that experience suggests that no one will want to work a 6 day week in this day and age...maybe they will for a month or two, but they will either leave or get tired.
General comment - I can't believe that modern equestrian businesses think they can work their staff into the ground AND underpay them...you can do either, but not together (and forive me if you are paying way above the NMW).
Good luck, anyway.

im in berkshire - and i know a 6 day week is pushing my luck - so if i found my "dream team" haha - i'm sure i could be persuaded to do a 5 day week....

If only the pay for groom/yard work was more reasonable...

I'd be willing to work hard doing what I love....!

Provide me with a contract, a decent caravan or similar, a reasonable rate.....and watch me go!!

I even sing for free, and on the odd occassion..... you may just get a glimpse of the traditional hairy brickies a*** LOL....again free of charge !!
