On behalf of a very good friend, looking to find
HGV
Forward facing ideally, rear facing considered.
Capable of carrying 4 (one would therefore assume 2x side ramps?)
2 of his horses are 18hh, their space must be big enough!
Small living - enough to get ready, make a cup of tea. Not necessary for overnight stays.
Lorry to be in fairly good condition.
If anyone is bored, and wants to 'window shop' then now is your opportunity! Kind thanks

Oh... ideally South Uk, !

Potentially costly as would need to add another ramp but presumably could convert one to facing forward? Years ago I had a lorry which was two facing forward and I had the partitions changed to travel herringbone. It already had a rear ramp, so wasn't that much work, just left a side ramp which wasn't needed.

Annoying not being able to delete posts anymore
Youve never been able to delete posts??
Side facing tend to be small. I’ve 17hh and only forward to backward facing big enough not to be cramped.
I had a herringbone lorry that comfortably took an 18.2hh also most heavy horses are travelled herringbone so not sure what horseboxes you’ve been looking at

I have been on here on and off nearly 20 years. Tbh I rarely need to delete posts so hence probably hadn’t noticed. I had a break from here for probably 6 years.

Could you look for a heavy horse lorry? I know a few of the breweries have forward facing lorries with room for a dray on there somewhere. It might need adapting, but a google search might bring up something - maybe?!
