What a nightmare!
I've had horses all my life, however my mother (after years of telling me that they're a drain on time and money) has now decided to join me in horse ownership. Lucky me has landed the job of finding her a horse.
I would regard Mum as a "competent novice" and she insists I should ride any potential horses first to decide whether she'd be able to handle them or not... then shortlist (as she can only view at the weekends, I'm free all week). What she doesn't seem to understand is that it's NOT THAT SIMPLE.
I'm sure finding a horse for anyone but yourself is pretty difficult, but your own mother, oh God help me...
There is really no reason to this post other than to rant - apologies. Deep breaths!
